Ashwoods have been developing and manufacturing highly efficient permanent magnet electric motors for over a decade. The ‘off the shelf’ Axial Flux Motor was the first electric motor developed by Ashwoods and is available in power ranges up to 60kW.
Recent innovation has lead to the development of the ultra-lightweight Interior Permanent Magnet Motor. The Ashwoods Interior Permanent Magnet is cost neutral or cheaper than traditional motors such as Brushed DC and Induction whilst offering all of the benefits permanent magnet technology provides.
